We’re product development experts, operating out of Sturtevant, Wisconsin. We are the team that developed the innovative Evinrude outboard engines. We have the tools & knowledge required to do diverse product development and testing. Our facility is extremely capable, and ready to support your development challenge or testing needs. What we do

We provide an engineering and testing service - using our years of experience developing Marine engines and internal knowledge of BRP. We can help you take your concept from idea to prototype, or simply provide validation & durability testing using our amazing infrastructure and tools. We are a one-stop shop for product development and testing.

Load Frame Testing

We utilize state-of-the-art load frames to apply static and dynamic forces to components, simulating real-world stress conditions. This allows us to validate structural integrity, material strength, and fatigue life with high precision.

Vibration/Shaker Testing

Our electrodynamic shakers can replicate a wide range of vibration profiles, from simple sine sweeps to complex random vibrations. This is crucial for ensuring product reliability in transportation, aerospace, and consumer electronics.

Cycle Testing

We perform accelerated life cycle testing to identify potential failure modes and predict the lifespan of mechanical and electrical systems. This involves subjecting products to thousands or millions of operational cycles in a compressed timeframe.

Engine Dynamometers

Our facility is equipped with advanced engine dynamometers to measure engine performance, torque, and power output. We can conduct performance tuning, emissions testing, and durability assessments for a wide variety of engine types.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Using sophisticated software, we create detailed computer models to analyze how products react to physical effects. FEA allows us to optimize designs for strength, stiffness, and thermal performance before a physical prototype is even built.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

We simulate fluid flow, heat transfer, and related phenomena to analyze and optimize aerodynamics, cooling systems, and hydraulic performance. CFD is a powerful tool for improving efficiency and performance in a virtual environment.

Salt Spray

We subject components to a highly corrosive saline fog environment to evaluate the corrosion resistance of materials and surface coatings. This accelerated test, performed to the ASTM B117 standard, is critical for products used in marine, automotive, and outdoor applications to ensure long-term durability and reliability against environmental degradation.

Design Reviews

Our experienced engineering team conducts thorough design reviews to identify potential issues, improve manufacturability, and ensure that your product meets all functional and performance requirements. This collaborative process is key to a successful product launch.
